Swiss army knife of the future...

Nokia unveiled its N91 multimedia phone, which will have a 4-gigabyte hard drive that can store thousands of music files. The phone, which will also run on high-speed 3G and wireless LAN networks, is due out by the end of the year.

Nokia said its other new phones, the N90 and the N70, will have two-megapixel cameras with high-quality Carl Zeiss lenses. The N90 will be in shops in the second quarter at a price of around 600 euros ($784), while the N70, also a 3G phone, will hit the shelves in the third quarter. A computer virus that’s finding its way to inboxes is fronting itself as a message from the FBI.

If you get what looks like an e-mail from the FBI, beware, it may not be what it seems.

A mass e-mail infiltrating inboxes tells people they are being monitored by the feds and they’ve surfed illegal websites. But it’s a scam.

The FBI says the e-mail is fraudulent and the attachment contains a computer virus, so don’t open it.

Consumers who receive the e-mail can report it to the FBI’s Internet Fraud Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov.

"Since customers have been looking for ways to extend the value of Linux to the desktop, IBM felt the time was right to deliver a fully supported Linux client alternative," said Ambuj Goyal, general manager of workplace, portal and collaboration software at IBM.

NHL Commissioner Bettman Cancels Season

Online fraudsters often try to trick internet users by sending out emails or links to web pages mimicking popular websites.
These so-called phishing emails and sites usually ask internet users to provide sensitive information, such as passwords or bank details, which can be used to plunder accounts.
The newly launched Phish Report Network allows companies to report fraudulent sites to a central database, operated by IT security firm WholeSecurity.

"Crossbar - Latches to replace transistors??????

Could cheaper, more effective computers be on the way??? According to various sources Hewlett Packard (HPQ.NYS) has announced that its researchers have discovered a technology that would replace transistors.
Stan Williams, director of Hewlett-Packard’s Quantum Science Research Group said, "We are reinventing the computer at the molecular scale. The crossbar latch provides a key element needed for building a computer using nanometre-sized devices that are relatively inexpensive and easy to build."

Spyware kiddies....

Spyware is likely to replace mass mailing worms as the biggest security threat facing business in 2005, “Currently more than one-third of the application crashes reported to Microsoft are caused by spyware and other unwanted software” . Well It's that time again, with recent news of more holes in windows...lol(like no-one seen that comming)...and spyware on the rise...It's a good Idea to clean your P.C.'s and/Macs from unwanted programs, don't forget to look for the specific file folders for unwanted programs and delete them too (do an uninstall execution FIRST), Clean up your Hard Disk(s),and....do a backup, of some kind. IQ TEST I scored.....

LOL...I went to an ad that popped up (or didn't, Firefox blocked it, I allowed it) For an IQ test, it's pretty entertaining, but when I got my results it was on the money!!! It seems that one of the bigger anti-virus software companies "McAfee" is putting a plan together to destroy GOOGLE...lol...Just kidding, their relasing software to major companies to stop their (other companies) websites and servers from being hacked by people who use google. So, how vulnerable is my site, or, how vulnerable is your site to GOOGLE searching??? Leave me a comment or a TAGQuick.

This is the best way I have found to store pictures on blogger..

If I download pictures in a post with hello, I get to see the properties and file location, so when I re-write IMG SRC i have a file to point to online so I don't have to use another servers account.

Well, as it stands IM half way through the work day. ok. I just wanna say Yey it's friday! and it's payday!!! Ya know, even if you don't like stupid bullshit (no offense) I wonder what Kevin Rose is up to? There is some pretty useful information on his site. I have been noticing that blogger isn't as easy as it may seems to the average internet users eyes, as it turns out you need to learn some basic HTML coding eg: Colors (#ffffff=white), possibly the hyperlink (a herf="www..com" between <> and the end tag / between the <> with an a, you understand I can't actaully type the code in a post because it would use it. Study up, atleast the basics of HTML and blogger is easily manipulated, I mean they (blogger) give you some decient templates to start out with, and so far thats been the key, tweaking the template file. Another hard day.......

Back from another hard day at the grind-stone...lol... Just kidding, my job aint that bad. I mean I get a chance to read up on current events, I espically like reasearching new technologies, I get to experiment with my computer skills and use them to do better and to look better at my job, plus I get to talk to people all over the world in the I.T. industry; Colleges, Government personal, Major companies (All various I.T. related). And the cool thing is the more I talk to them it looks good on me by my employer, and I get to learn a whole lot more about what I love to do. Currently we are getting ready to launch projects under a $137,000,000.00 (really it's an un-capped figure, the basis being 137 million) contract under the government! Also, 2 of my other contractors are EDS and Dell (not that I like Dell that much, but they gots alot of $). Then I come home and surf...lol...ONLINE....it's like IM a geek, but IM not, but IM, but IM not...lol....if you can understand, IM just good at what I do...in everything....yeah IM confident...but I have a right to be! Put me on a surface of ice with hockey skates and I'll learn ya whats up....or lets go to the local skatepark.....Or better yet, if none of this is possible arrange to meet me online and I'll show you what a processer smell's like...lol....Nah, IM easy going good to get along with, fun to be around.....Well, I think IM going to wind down the internet and make it even smaller....If I find some cool tech. news I'll blog a link here...PEACE OUT!
